Organizations

Organizations are the top-level container for your PatchCTL resources.

What is an Organization?

An organization contains:

  • Your servers and agents
  • Team members
  • Schedules and configurations
  • Billing and subscription

Creating an Organization

New accounts automatically have an organization created. To create additional organizations:

  1. Click your profile menu
  2. Select Create Organization
  3. Enter organization name
  4. Click Create

Organization Settings

Access via SettingsOrganization:

General

  • Organization name
  • Created date
  • Owner information

Defaults

  • Default environment for new servers
  • Default notification preferences

Switching Organizations

If you belong to multiple organizations:

  1. Click your profile menu
  2. Select Switch Organization
  3. Choose the organization

Deleting an Organization

Irreversible

Deleting an organization permanently removes all data including servers, schedules, and history.

Only organization owners can delete:

  1. Go to SettingsOrganization
  2. Scroll to Danger Zone
  3. Click Delete Organization
  4. Type the organization name to confirm
  5. Click Delete
